Great to see so many smiling faces and improving golf swings during yesterday's golf lesson offered by the FairWays to Leadership program. Thanks to Kelsey Chapman, Spencer Barnes, Craig Thompson, Pedro Ariza, and Haley McInerny for all the hard work they're putting in at the range.
FairWays to Leadership is an educational program working to ensure golf is a source of opportunity and not a barrier for aspiring business leaders.
The program offers a curriculum teaching how to play and how to talk golf. The "how to play golf" portion of the program helps participants develop their playing ability. The "how to speak golf" portion of the program helps participants develop their ability to use golf for social and business purposes.
FairWays to Leadership is open to anyone interested in using golf for professional advancement. The program places a special emphasis on women and people of color for whom golf has a history of exclusion.
Contact Dr. Eric Boyd on LinkedIn if you would like to help FairWays to Leadership in its efforts to ensure golf is a source of empowerment in today's diverse workplace.
