Second Session

The second session of FairWays to Leadership (formerly OpportunityDriver) took place today with newcomers Travis and Pedro taking their first step toward using the game of golf as a source of professional empowerment by learning how to swing the golf club. They were joined by returnees Ivan and Craig who showed off what they learned in the first session.

We also learned how to talk golf when someone said the S-word that should never be said on the golf course (i.e., shank). For those who aren't familiar with the term, it refers to hitting the golf ball off the hosel rather than the face of the club and is considered to be a very bad omen for a golfer and anyone playing with him or her.
