Craig earned a bachelor’s of science in Sports Management with a minor in Marketing from the University of Arkansas, and received an MBA and Master’s in Sports Business Management from the DeVos Sport Business Program at the UCF College of Business.

Craig’s goal is to become an Athletic Director at a Division 1 college athletic program, but at the moment, he is achieving a lifelong goal of raising money to support the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a Development Specialist in Baton Rouge, LA.

When asked about his experience with FWTL, Craig described it this way,

“When Dr. Boyd came to us about a golf program that could prepare us for the business world, I was in for the sole fact that it could benefit my career. However, learning the game has accelerated relationships with my classmates, friends, and family, and taught me how much golf can grow a community if there is someone to give it a chance like what FairWays to Leadership is doing.”

When asked how the program impacted her, Melanie replied.

“I had never played golf before doing FairWays to Leadership. I didn’t know anything about the game or the terminology at all. It was really like gibberish to me. I totally feel confident now to be able to go out onto a course and a game with executives and have a good moment of networking.”
